Glad to have you on board. There's many more of these from the past and many more on the way.

Here's a whole bunch of my steampunk art for those that haven't LIKED my facebook page yet. Let me know what you think and which pieces you would like to see DIY videos. facebook.com/pg/EARTHOVISION/photos/?tab=album&album_id=727447097347614

Fantastic video... shows incredible creativity. By the way, I like the speed of the video - fast and to the point. If I need to see more detail I just pause the video. I have an industrial theme restaurant, and I'll use some of these ideas to help decorate. Awesome!

Yeah, it's a hard guess to go fast or slow in the editing. That's cool to use these ideas in your restaurant . It makes sense to use the light weight materials rather than metal so that your customers will be safe in an earthquake. Thanks for commenting. Cheers.

You're right, I was noticing the same thing. I was so worried to make it too slow that I made it too fast, oops. I have more DIY on the way and you'll notice I am slowing things down. I appreciate your input and help to make my future videos better :)

Maybe slow down the speed to catch what you are actually doing

I think you're right. In the future I'll make both versions.

Where did you find the images of the dials?
@EARTHOVISION6 жыл бұрын
I dug around in Google images and after finding a handful I had them printed on photo paper. My printer ran out of ink which is why I took advantage of a six cents sale for each photo (which, as you can see, I fit a bunch into the 4x6 inch prints.)

Great! Just the video is really too fast to see the detail of how you do some of the more intricate gauges.

Thank you for communicating Kimberly. I agree it's too fast and I've learned my lesson. My newer DIYs are not as fast. Hopefully you'll see a difference. Cheers.

Where can I get the images of the dials/gauges?
@EARTHOVISION5 жыл бұрын
I did a search on google for "dials gauges vintage" and then clicked the "Images" tab. There are so many to choose from. Sometimes I take them into photoshop to make them more custom. I print them on photographic paper for only about ten cents each at our local Walgreens.

I apologize, I've learned to slow down since then. I was under the impression people wanted things fast and if they wanted slow they would play the video at half speed. Now I'm trying to make them with a normal speed and for those that think I'm too slow then they can watch my videos at double speed. Thanks for the input, it helps me make better videos :)
