Ngl this video gained my interest on doing stop motion again. And this video helps a ton. Am honestly surprised I’ve never heard of sticky tack. I’ve always used clay but it could be a pain to use. Especially when it’s dried out. But sticky tack l seems way more easier to use. So thank u so much for that small tip.

Thank you for this video! How do you cut out something (stand/Hand) when you do a tracking shot? You probably don’t put the figures out of the frame to take a picture from the background, just to put the figures back in place right?

you would need an editing software. Adobe after effects has an effect called rotobezier that can make a mask around an object and do a pretty good job of tracking it but some minor adjustments are usually needed. You can also mask em out yourself manually but usually takes a little longer.
