hi! i'd like to try making this but do you think it would work if I substitute strawberry jam for puree? i really dont have that much time to spare for making puree 😅 nice vid tho! looks yummy.

Though* And it doesn't take more than a few seconds to make strawberry puree. This was just one way of doing it. I just take some thawed frozen strawberries (I'm sure you can do the same with fresh, you'll just need to add more liquid), some sugar, and a bit of water if needed and put them in my personal blender and blend them until smooth. It takes less than a minute. Then pour the puree in a airtight container and keep it refrigerated. And if you're confusing the puree LASTING for 30 days with having to wait 30 days in order to use it, that isn't what the person in the video meant. When they say refrigerate it for 30 days, they mean it stays good for that long in the refrigerator. You can use it at any time during that period.

If you're referring to the puree, that has nothing to do with waiting, you dope. :-P That just means it will stay good in the refrigerator for 30 days. You can use it at any time before then. Too much work. It's a much easier way

How it is too much work? The only thing that took any work was the puree, and you don't have to make it that way. If you have a blender, just place the strawberries and sugar (and some water and/lemon juice, if needed), and blend until smooth.
