I know a vocal effect invented by The Beatles. It involves duplicating the vocal track, delaying one by a few milliseconds then pan individually to the left and right. It has a resonating effect of some sort.
@astodone90226 жыл бұрын
That's... just basic chorus effect but with a pitching rate of 0. A plugin in FL Studio called "Stereo Enhancer" does just that, and you can control how much you pan it/delay it. It doesn't have a resonating effect, it just makes it sound wide and stereo.

Hey, man! Thanks for the video! Ever heard of the game Bastion? Would you know to make the voice like the game's narrator? After hearing the actor's (Logan Cunningham) voice on a normal interview, I realized they used some effects to alter his speech.
@51TD0wN10 жыл бұрын
I checked it out, I don't see him using a huge amount of effects. I assume he's using the general effects you use to make a track sound cleaner, as well as possibly deepening the pitch. A lot of what makes a voice sound a certain way is the actor.

Brilliant! I really want to know how to make a normal voice sound like a whisper thanks!
@51TD0wN4 жыл бұрын
Thanks :) Unfortunately the best way to produce a whisper is to actually whisper. Whispers have an entirely different sound to them, and there is currently no effect to emulate that. Is there a particular sound clip you wanted to sound like a whisper?
To make a deep electrical voice, you just overdub your voice but you do different pitches of voices then you deepen the vocals.

What would be a recommended mic to do this with? And how much of a difference does that make compared to an on board mic?
@51TD0wN9 жыл бұрын
You can do this with any mic you want. The sound quality won't change after you add this effect. Obviously the better mics will sound better. For this video I used a Logitech H390 headset which actually has a relatively low quality mic. Lately I've been using the Audio Technica AT2020, and it does sound better, but I wouldn't say it sounds that bad with my headset. Some of the most popular mics for gamers are the blue yeti, and the blue snowball. So if you're interested in getting a good mic those are also good choices.
@Amikas1179 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the response. Until my next paycheck, I'll make do with my laptop's mic.
