Reflective parts are a great replacement for shaders especially in games like doors so this is very helpful so it helps me make my horror game it would be very helpful if you made a charecter animation tutorial thanks

@@t8rbird26Unless you set it up properly. Then it actually looks good. The default presets are guaranteed to look trash without tweaking. Just turn off screen space reflections and stuff shouldnt be smooth anymore.

Mirrors are expensive in game development. Unless you are doing raytracing (and I am pretty sure Roblox is not), then the way to make a mirror in a game is to make a copy of the game world. That's why it's expensive and why they don't add it as a material that just anybody can use. Add too many mirrors into your game and you can kiss goodbye to framerates above 5.

knowing blender is an amazing skill, since you can make your own assets without limitation to detail, for example, making a gun / tool mesh, you can make it for just the handle as its own part- whereas studio, you would be building it more or less from scratch with multiple parts.. it can work, just not as effective, learning low poly modeling can save alot of time / and game resources too.. personally i suck at 3d modelling but i script- i build only with studio, but should learn blender- just learn it when you can 👍🏼
