I just made these today and they are TO DIE FOR! definitely the best. I didn’t have a sieve, but I managed to make it work- I just put a strainer over the measuring cup for the chicken drippings. And I didn’t have a big pot so I just used my biggest one, put foil over the tamales and let it steam that way- it took about 2 1/2 hours total.

I've watched so many tamales videos and this is by far my favorite. I know it will take time but you make it look so easy and gave tips I'd never heard before. This will definitely be the video I use as a guide. Thank you so much!

I’ll bet they taste delicious. My sister is making tamales tonight for delivery tomorrow. She’s really good at it. At Christmas she’s made up to 300 dozen. Now she’s doing fancy ones, with cream cheese, jalapeño, bacon. She won a trophy for those. 👍

I made these last night for the first time. I do have to say they're a labor intensive. A mistake I made was not taste testing the meat before I wrapped my tamales. All guajillo peppers are not the same. I anm using pepper sauce on these to spice them up a bit. But the recipe worked out fine. Now I can make my own chicken tamales. Thumbs up

I just started watching your tutorials. I hope u feel better and I'm so glad the trolls did not discourage you to continue making tutorial videos. I really like your videos. My dad made all of these recipes and I miss him and the food brings back great memories, your cooking is similar to his, he was born in Mexico and became a chef in the United States, Thank you for taking the time to show how it's done! 😊

Okay I typed in "how to make tamales chicken", your video was first and I am soooooo glad I clicked! My neighbor Anna Rosa used to make us tamales and I was hooked. After we moved my wife asked me what I wanted for my birthday one year and I said Anna Rosa's tamales, she ended up seeing her daughter at out local mall one day and mentioned that's what I wanted and her mom was so excited that that was what I wanted she ended up making me a whole batch!! Anyway I am going to try and make these myself, I loved your video, it is very detailed and also I like the tips you give about the masa. I will let you know how they turn out. Big thumbs up and subscribed!
