How to make tank tracks (UPGRADED) (BABFT TUTORIAL)

To everybody who's having trouble with the tracks falling off of the front wheels, you need to change the length of the piston that pushes the wheel outward from 3 -> 2. (There is still a chance of the tracks falling off but that's if you exceed its limits too much.) Hope this helps. 👍👍

if your tank tracks are moving but just stop moving after a short time you can do two thing 1: you can make the top part that is on the piston collision off or 2: you can delete the fron 45 degree angle part

If your tracks are not going up, and/or not having a curve then scale the non- collision parts by either .1, .15, or .05 and this should fix it. also, when done with the tank if it sometimes glitches through your tread armor, then raise it by .5 or 1 and make sure to anchor the piston

Tank tracks falling off? Select the "tracks part" (only the top, not the end or anything) and move it .2 studs back. Then select the bottom Parts of the tracks and do the same but forwards, worked for me

If anybody is having trouble with the back and front wheel sticking onto the tracks and slowing it down just turn up the wheel torque by 1 untill it works and from there find your personal best one for you and by turning it up I mean to turn it up for every single wheel not just those 2

Alright to anyone having it bug out its bc the springs dont have enough reach. Change them from 9 max length to 13, and it is all fixed. and i mean ALL fixed.

if the wheels just clip through the tracks just make the piston speed on 2 and check if the bottom spring things pistons are not extended helped me out 🙂

Since I'm pretty sure the tracks stay on because on Tension, you should just add a hinge then springs to the hull. it's kinda hard to explain it here but it's in green waffles tuto on tank tracks.

Not gonna lie. This is dang smart I've been making mechanic for tanks for about 3 months and in my experience. Its decent but it will make your tank lag. The more hinges, pistons and wheels the more lag it gets IF your device is laggy or bad hehe

I Made the tank tracks the exact way it was shown in the vid, but im having some troubles with it. I even made the tank from the other tutorial and it turned out to work pretty well. But the tracks are the problem for now, i have checked everything and even decided to rebuild it exactly the same way but the tracks had this problem when some of the track parts would merge by a pixel or 2 and it wouldnt be smooth at all, and if unlucky it would get stuck in the wheels and it wont even move at all. How do i fix that issue so my tracks will me smooth and wont be blocky in some parts?

Just finished building my own version based on this vid i added more wheels and nore track links (non a good decision because it is more laggy and very heavily) it works good but when i turn it drifts a lot and it's hard to control maybe because it's too heavy also when i unancor its a bit glitchy (the tracks don't stay still and they vibrate a bit ) maybe i should add more springs or make the piston longer any tips to improve?

The tracks are supposed to sort of vibrate due to how roblox physics engine works. You should only add dual links to your tracks if you are using them for pvp. Also maybe make a system so you can detach your springs just incase you need to discard of the tracks, discarding the springs will make the tracks fall off.

Kinda Late to Say this But @ReliantShell Since nobody is gonna see my comment make a pinned comment explaining as how the location of the spikes breaks your build since it cant rorate past half a turn, the way that if you make the pistons too long is breaks appart and that the body from the other video works perfectly with this build.

@@TheGameverseMrGold i just made his smaller version of the tracks and im having the problem again. its the springs! something about the springs wont allow the tracks to do a full rotation, this took me about 10 mins to figure out and i think im onto the problom. i will let you know if i find a fix

@@ZanLogic I did find a fix, I just had a problem with me left tracks springs and hinges, so I replaced them. I later had another problem with the whole track extending out with the springs, and I just replaced both the springs and hinges. It was hard to figure out but at least I have some cool tank tracks
