Someone probably all ready mentioned this but the models in the Fallout games can be decompiled and exported to a modeling software package like Blender (which is FREE or you can register as a student at Autodesk's website to get 3DS Max/MAYA for FREE) and then you can scale the gun to real world measurements and even cut it up to have each part to print (in an OG printer) for use as a template. But like I said, I'm sure someone all ready posted that suggestion. I'm just way more interested in the video:)

When making the barrel, you can level out a small piece of pvc pipe with the front of the gun so you can make barrel attachments like a silencer and stuff like that.

I mean it is great for making props like you do but did you ever want to move to something more "premium" like wood based props or metal based props? I think i was using hot glue as a filler/putty to cover the exposed styrofoam. styro foam melts when exposed to spray paint so i was trying to prevent that.

That looks like the gen 1 Colonial Sidearm from Season 1 (and a bit of 2) of BSG .. Smith & Wesson 686 revolver as the base (the gen 2 uses the FN FiveseveN as a base).

You can replicate the look of the classic 10mm Pistol in Fallout 4 by attaching one of the Long Barrel mods, which includes the longer barrel and the large cylinder-like object under the front of the barrel. I prefer that aesthetic myself, but I end up using the Deliverer once I get that since it's overall a better gun than the standard 10mm pistol and has its own unique aesthetic (I wish more Unique weapons in Fallout 4 had unique models and textures, so far it's just The Deliverer and Kremvh's Tooth I think).
