I’ve learned new things from all of the ring makers you’ve featured on these tutorials. I like how Elliott gives tips about the products. It’s also good to see him working in a home setup that doesn’t have every perfect ring making tool. Makes me feel more confident with what I have.

You guys should definitely make a video on how to use the ring liner with a ring blank

the fossil ring, supernova, and one of the sunken artifact rings have videos that show one way to use the liners.

The acacia koa wood also known as koa wood is a species of a flowering tree in the family Fabaceae. It is endemic to the Hawaiian Islands where it is the second most common tree. The highest populations are on Hawai’i, Maui and O’ahu. The word Koa also means brave, bold, fearless and warrior. In the native Hawaiian language.

You are great at explaining the process, just meet to change the camera angles and film a bit closer to the project.

Is this an ad for why not to buy plated ring cores?

Last 2 months videos have been awful. Great camera placement on this one - I like the closeups of the back of his hands blocking the entire view while he’s working. Very helpful to see what’s going on that way. 🙄

Its not hard to rig up a drip line for wet sanding....

I don’t mean to be rude but please go back to having Patrick doing the videos. This one and the last one are not good.

A belt sander... Doesn't have a Dremel but has a belt sander. To the entire staff of P.A.D. please workshop how you make videos going forward. At least get your guy the right equipment, and enough material to redo it if he burns through the plating using the wrong equipment he does have.

Gosh Patrick, what happened to the quality of your videos?? It used to be classy and professional. Now it's made in a garage, using a rusted piece of metal to crush the materials on and old orbital sander sanding paper🫣 And the placement of the camera is just as bad.

maybe he want to send a message how this ring can be made anywhere, without special treatment? (although thats not true, CA glue does need special treatment on some environments) *that doesnt explain the bad recording tho
@briankelly70608 ай бұрын
Patrick's old videos were filmed in the garage. There's nothing wrong with where, it's just an issue with how. Wrong tools wrong angle and apparently not enough quality control.
