So nice to see anyone can do these, this elderly lady makes it looks so easy! Thank you for the easy instructions. I got a kit and the instructions did not show all this!
@beadaholique4 жыл бұрын
Oh good I'm glad the video helped, sorry the instructions weren't fully clear. We design the videos and the instructions so that one or the other can be used on its own, but somethings are easier to show in video form. Thanks for buying this kit!

That looks great! How can I make a braid with beads down each outside edge and none in the middle?

Love this bracelet. Thanks for sharing. How long should I cut each warp if I only want to make the triple wrap. I see in the video you have allowed extra length to remain on the bobbins to also make a single additional wrap.

We recommend 8 feet for each wrap. Thanks for watching!

Hi! Thank you for this great tutorial! Question: Is it possible, to make the pattern having the beads only on one side, not on the under side of the bracelet? Thank you!
@beadaholique5 жыл бұрын
I have not personally tried that pattern, but yes it should work. You're bead placement will change when loading the beads on to the strands. I'm not certain of the exact pattern.
@elainesutherland69034 жыл бұрын
@@beadaholique the only change is to only drop one bead either the right or left on each rotation. The bead on the right is one side, the bead on the left would be the other side.. be sure you use the same side each time.

They also provide a tracking number so you can see where the order is during shipping. Hope this info helps. And just fyi, it's SO relaxing!! I love this pattern, but my pattern is a wrap bracelet with 108 beads. 108 does not go into 10 evenly. Can I either add more beads to balance the count out and stop when I have 108 woven, or can you provide help with making this a 12 strand weave? Thanks! ShariB
@beadaholique5 жыл бұрын
Hi! I believe you can just add your 108 beads and then stop. I assume you are trying to achieve a mala effect. We do have other videos that show you a more traditional Mala www.beadaholique.com/how-to-make-a-mala.html Currently we do not have a video for a 12 warp flat kumihimo braid but I will add that to our video requests. @@beadaholique Thank you for the reply. I am doing this as we speak but I can't get the beads in a straight line. I am using 6/0 but i think those are smaller aren't they? Are they 10/10?? 12/0??
@beadaholique3 жыл бұрын
@@winningnumbersSorry you're having trouble! The metal beads in the kit are 6/0. They're a bit smaller than a standard Mikyuki 6/0, but much closer to that than to an 8/0, and they're a good snug fit for the 1mm knoting cord. You can see them here: beadaholique.com/products/genuine-metal-seed-beads-6-0-matte-gilding-metal-28-grams Not sure what the issue might be, could it be a tension problem pulling them out of alignment?
