Usually a dead yao gui by the waste dump that starts the enclave storyline too, on the left just before.the entrance

When you fast travel to rapidan camp (which is worth stripping for its items anyway) there is a yao guai spawn immediately where you fast travel. In addition, there's a spot along one of the western caravan routes where like, six yao guai spawn. They're high level, but they're there. In addition, one will often spawn during caravan events, and a lot of them will spawn during Safe and Sound event.

I go to the restaurant in White Springs Refuge. About half the time they are serving one of the 2 Tasty dishes. Server hop for more. About the same chances for Deathclaw Wellington for that extra strength.

Just soloed him today. Full troubleshooters power armor and an anti-armor gatling plasma. Had to use two of the three shelters before I finished him off.

I use four pieces of troubleshooter power armor, and the Valkyrie. I also use herbivore with light soup.

It's actually a very easy game, and bugthesda helps a lot with glitches like this. What can you expect from a game where even if you don't eat, drink or cure diseases, nothing happens to you? This is a simple example, there are many more things... it's very easy and you know it!

I use troubleshooters on my power armor and eat a glowing meat steak because it’s much easier than tracking down that many bears. During mutation events the glowing meat is all around to help make it.

I'm staying as a herbivore. But I do the same as you Oskapt. As he comes up through the hatch I jump on his head. And then slide off to face him. Minigun with a shredder. Change to vampire auto-axe. Power armour 2nd star is strength. Psychobuff, whiskey, herbivore serum, deathclaw wellington, Bobble head melee or strength, Grognak 1, Curator, Any tasty meat. Only thing is the build and equipment is not suitable for a team full assault. You need a more versatile build for that. Can do it without going to shelter.

The valkyrie is awesome for solo runs. Not as fast as an auto axe but its trouble shooters, breaks slower, power user make it 1000 shots per core and the body has yellow numbers so bullys kicks in when the shield is down.

Tasty Mutant Hound Stew gives same percentage bonus and much easy to farm wes tek for meat. Takes 6 starlight berries and 4 pepper, and 12 meat water and wood. Much easier than bear 🐻 farm.

It’s in the video too. It’s a great alternative, but with mutant hounds being so prevalent, it doesn’t carry the same feeling of conquest. “Legendary hunter takes down dogs!” Doesn’t have the same ring. 😂

I do all of that solo but I just started using the autoaxe only. (Make sure it 200%) it cuts close but works every time.

I like the gauss mini with explosive because it does a little bit of damage to the boss while whittling down the shield.

Decides to make one of the most popular single-player franchises have an MMO. Enables you to play said game completely alone. Years later, adds raids, which require other players. Never considered players might not actually want to need other players *shrug*

kinda critical tbh. i don't have pounders, i can only hit up to 450 dmg on the auto axe. barely enough to take him past half hp.

I have been farming this bot for well over 250 times (mostly solo) and today I noticed his health regenerating while using auto axe, after shields are down. Did it 3 times with buff/glowing meat steak and still couldn’t take in down before first round was over. Anyone else have this problem?

I’ve seen something similar, mostly when in first person. It doesn’t regenerate, but it stalls while going down. When in third person his health bar goes down much faster.

Most damage is done by bullet shield

In other words all the DMG the boss is doing to you reflects back to the boss and since The bot has high damage output. He damages himself a lot. Ricochet and bullet shield with other perk cards will do the trick.

The bears are far harder to farm than the TASTY MUTANT HOUND STEW that uses super mutants hound meat... 😂 Far easier hit westtek throw on the meat finder perk card an you'll get like 30 mutant hound meat lol 🤷🏻‍♂️ same exact buff!

Mutant hound stew is also in the video. We aren’t here to only make videos about the easiest things to do in the game. Sometimes it’s fun to do something that takes a little more work. The reward is more satisfying. Also, when everyone has killed all the mutant hounds in a server, bears are often still there.

Unfortunately there is not. All of the melee buffs are meat related. Herbivore buffs are more around AP.

This is the exact reason I never liked the idea of these new raids . Just like with every game that has raids it degenerates into well you need this meta to run something over and over . That doesn't appeal too me running something over and over to get a certain item and I'm sure as hell am not gonna jump threw a hoop to do a certain task to a certain way to get a 0.00% chance to get an item . People enjoy doing stuff like that but I'm not that person. Even though i didn't care about the new raids ,I tried it out When the raids first dropped it was interesting to figure out the mechanics ,but now it's sweaty try hards that wanna farm the first boss to infinity and if you don't have an auotaxe you get kicked . Far as the raids they are dead to me ,if my wife wants to run one that's fine I will with her but I have no interest in the loot ...nothing in the game can't be beat already that needs new pa or 4 star so they are worthless far as rewards . It's just that it's there .😮

That's a Gauss Minigun. It's a later game weapon, you need to be level 45 and complete the main story line so you can buy the plan with gold bullion.

As an addition: You need to be max reputation with a faction called the Raiders that you'll meet in the story anyway, grinding reputation will be just that; a grind, not to mention the Gold Bullion you'll need can only be acquired from trading Treasury Notes that you'll get from Public Events at a machine called the Gold Press Machine located in Foundation (If I remember it's by the Elevator to the Foundation Interior) Crater Core (Main building of the Crater.) Whitesprings Mall (Artisans Corner, which is located down the stairs behind the Mr Handy Greeter and right down the long hall once you've entered the Mall.) once a day, you can cash in a maximum of 40 Treasury Notes for 400 Gold Bullion (Unless it's Gold Rush Week then it's 80 Notes for 800 Gold Bullion.) and once a week, if you have 6000 caps to spare, you can buy an extra 300 from an NPC in the Wayward AFTER completing the entire quest line. If you'll want to get the Gauss Minigun Plans, it'll be sold by an NPC called Mortimer in the Crater Core, pretty much right next to the Gold Press Machine. The other method is buying it from an NPC called Minerva; she's also a Gold Bullion Vendor but she travels Appalachia, rotating between four locations you'll discover on your own adventures around the countryside! Fort Atlas, Foundation, The Crater and Whitesprings Resort, you get plans at a discounted rate but her inventory varies, the Raiders Vendor is guaranteed once you have max reputation and 750 Gold Bullion, the mods cost an extra 150 each if I remember correctly.
