I'm looking for something simple yet elegant for my wife so this is great, I might add a couple of silver beads either side of the Eternity Knot and a snake knot or two to keep them in place. Thanks for the nice easy 'follow along' video too.

Thanks for taking your time to teach each knot. Tried other tutorials and they are too fast or just have music with really no explanation. I'm sure they are great for other people since we all learn differently. Thanks again!

Great video! I tie double-overhand knots for my sliding knots... very slight difference to what you are tying, but they cinch up just a little bit smaller.
@theawakening29466 жыл бұрын
Wow i looked up how to tie a sliding knot because my leather cord necklace came undone and now you peaked my interest in paracord....i subbed to your channel, man i love KZbin cause of things like this. Anything you ever wanted to know or learn how to do is now at your fingertips....ty!!! Now i wanna know...how strong paracord actually is.....

In the Army we called it 550 cord because it can hold 550 pounds, for real. That's why they use it for parachute risers.

If you stick your last cord down through the last loop both ends of your eternity knot will be the same. Verses one over and the other under. Don't know if that is a different style but I think it looks better.

While I was looking at your videos my three-year-old came up and spotted this one and decided he wants me to make this one. I think I need to do the mad max first to get my feet wet. How do you get the sliding knots even?... one sits an inch away from the eternity knot, and the other sliding knot is almost beside the other sliding knot! so it looks way off center. Also how do you get it to fit? mine came out waaay too loose! ??

It would be helpful to me for you to identify the size cord you are using in mm, inches, or however it is classified. What is the difference between micro cord and regular paracord in measurements. Just starting to make these, thanks, Grace
@denisewenke8323 Жыл бұрын
550 paracord is about 5-6 mm or 1/4 inch. 95 paracord is thinner, about 2-3 mm or 1/8 inch. It's classified by how much weight it can support.

Really need help please !!!! Not with the knot itself but with the formula on how to figure out the proportions of how big you want your bracelet to be. Exemple : from all the way extended to the smallest it can be. I need instructions on how to make one that would be around 6" at the smallest but need it to be around 12" to the longest it can go. Is it possible ? Can't find any info about this anywhere !!!

It's amazing how hard thi one was for me and I have had no problem with the zipper sinnet, the mandala knot, and have made dozens of harder things like the Conquistador, Genoese, etc. Wow. Thanks for the video though. It looks really sweet now that I got it down somewhat. There is a section on here that repeats. The correct instructions start to repeat at about 5 min 45 seconds. Just FYI for anybody watching.

I just made my first one and it was this one with the extra knot. You are just melting it not burning it. I burned mine at first, it smells when you do that but not much. I know I did it wrong though... it shouldn't burn it should melt. Don't touch the flame to it.
