I loved this tutorial!!! What I appreciate about your teaching style , is that you include the dimensions of the images and text. I can not tell you how much that is appreciated because there are a lot of people who are new learners and need that visual as a foundation. As we know there are several educators who provide tutorials but lack the forethought that viewers are new to design space and that figuring how to determine how wide and how high an image should be can be challenging.

Congrats on the new home and crafting space. You have the most informative as well as short videos. You get straight to the point. How I find the center is I fold it in half so that the beginning of the design and the end of the design is in half. Do not go by the length of the transfer tape. Make a crease only on the transfer tape to find your center. I think you do this with HTV as well. Then measure the length of the subway tile and find the center there and mark it with a pencil. Then line up the center crease on the transfer tape with the pencil mark and you have your left to right center. On the top and bottom I eyeball it.

If you use permanent vinyl it’ll last a long time! It’s meant for indoor and outdoor use. I’ve heard some people will put mod podge over their vinyl but I never do and it holds up really well.

I'm so glad! :) Sometimes that can be really tricky. What kind of vinyl are you using? I have better luck cutting tiny letters with oracal 651. You can also try the reverse weeding method. I have a video showing how I do that here and it has helped me before. kzbin.info/www/bejne/bHPGXoWYrMuDqZY

to get the heart on a windows you can hit shift on your keyboard, and while hitting shift select the underscore button. It will pop up in the text box that way also! :)

When downloading from Dafont you'll need to unzip the file, then install it. Once you do that you'll need to close out of Cricut Design Space if it's open on your computer and open it back up. For some reason it needs to be closed down for it to pop up in Cricut Design Space. I am so sorry I forgot to post the links but I just linked the videos in my description box.
