Great tutorial. I’ve seen a version that is completely collapsable. Also nice. Done by making all the joints of the 4 walls of the “tube” with fabric tape. I used rafia for sewing seams from haberdashery glued with modpodge. Doesn’t add that much to the effect because it can be seen that the box is empty anyway. But swings and roundabouts…….

The tape you use in the Staes is called Duck tape I have no idea why! When I make mine I will add a bottom just in case a 7 year old ask to see the bottom, and yes 7 years old do ask crazy questions, and yes their also have eagle eyes their see everything you learn to cover everything!

Duck tape is a brand name of duct tape. For taping ducts. It’s just a pun of sorts.
