How to make the Marks and Spencer candle light up again

Try boiling some water to get the old wax out….then drop the candle in unlit…then light it with a long match or candle lighter

I've bought two of these(from Argos in my case) and they worked for a few days before going on the sulk. Hmmmmmmmmm
