So the tape is a good idea. I thought it was but wasn't sure. I need thinner tape like you're using here. Where would one find that?

What tape are you using? Also how do we know what stones are toxic?

I just used regular cellophane tape and let it hang over the outside of the ring.

What are you using for a motor to turn the ring? Looks like its off an old lathe but I have been looking for just a motor like that.

They use a mini lathe

You know if a drill would fit that mandrel?

Yes a drill will fit the mandrel they have just make sure it has a 1/2" chuck on it. That's what I'm use to make them with.

@210Stitch didn't wait and ordered them 🤣 I tried this and it it worked, I got the sub box later so the mandrel came and fit the drill too
