Breaking news: We have officially entered the sacred month of Dhul Hijjah. For the year 2024, the first day of Dhul Hijjah will commence on Friday, June 7th. The day of Arafah will commence on Saturday, June 15th. Eid al-Adha (Day of Nahr) will commence on Sunday, June 16th. Don't forget that the night precedes the day in the Islamic calendar. So the first night of Dhul Hijjah will commence on Thursday, June 6th, at sunset. If you plan on offering sacrifice (Udhiya), make sure not to clip your nails or cut your hair after sunset on Thursday, June 6th. May Allah allow us to reach the ten blessed days of Dhul Hijjah with good health and faith. Please share with family and friends.

Assalaamu Alaykum Warahmatullawhi Wabarakaatuh *ZUL HIJJAH GUIDE:* 🟢 Friday 7th June last day to clip nails & remove unwanted hair. 🟢 Increase the recital of Subhaanallawh, Alhamdulillah, La Ilaaha Illallawhu, Allawhu Akbar. 🟢 Each day (1st to 8th Zul Hijjah) fast equals the reward of fasting a year. 🟢 Each night worship equals to worship of Laylatul Qadr. 🟢 Fast of the 9th forgives 1 past year & 1 future year's sins. 🟢 Takbeer of Tashreeq from 9th Zul Hijjah Fajr to 13th Zul Hijjah 'Asr once after every Fardh Salaah - men audibly & females softly. *SOME TIPS:* ✅ Read all 5 daily Salaals - Males with Jamaat - Females at home on time. ✅ Read 6 Rakaats Awwaabeen after Maghrib. ✅ Read a minimum of 2 Rakaats Tahajjud before going to bed or after Witr. ✅ Read Tasbeeh Fathimi after every Salaah & before bed. How to make the best of hijjah. It's is the sacrifice of the best days of Arafat. Remember Allah AWA, specially fadjr. These 10 days is the best days ,of good deeds . Everyone whi went to battle, will stand it better. These good deeds , it's combined, then other days . The pillar of Islam. Algamdoelielah. This is the only time for good deeds . Charity, help those who struggle. Don't forget you fadjr. Fajr is the best , to start u day . Fasting 9 days of Arafat and the 10 day is Eid . Eid u can't fast. Sk Omar, I am like, many brothers and sisters are confused; as different masajid in our area (one of which u also visited recently and gave a short speech on political activism, after fajar prayer) have announced two different days of starting the month of Dulhijja, one based on moon sighting and one based on calculations which coincided with Saudi announcement. What do we, and many like us do ? We follow local moon sighting or Saudi announcement and follow day of Arafah, the 9th Dulhajjah in Makkah or here in USA as local moon sighting. Pls guide us or else we will be following incorrect days, missing the blessings of day of Arafah and May end up fasting on the day of Eid.
