Been using the oppo enco air 2 pro so far and Just got my hand on this Oneplus buds 3. Been using them at {3 0 2 1 2 3} eq setting and they sound amazing. They feel so close to my oppo enco air 2 pro with this setting, the only difference is that these are wayyyy louder and have more base than oppo. Try this setting once and tell me if u like it or not.

Do the earbuds fit test, if it says that the fitting is fine then it's just because the earbuds are loud. You shouldn't be listening to such high volumes, you're damaging your ears.

Sound depends on 2 things at the moment - the drivers of your earbuds and the codec through which the music is being transferred. There's no difference in BRAND. BUT, if there's a difference in codecs supported by each of the phones, THEN you'll see a difference. For example my Pixel 8 only supports Apt X, Apt X HD, Apt X Lossless and LDAC, but not LHDC. Oneplus, Oppo and Realme come with LHDC codecs, even some Xiaomi's come with LHDC and LDAC. So if I'm playing songs via the usual SBC / AAC codecs on any phone --- NO DIFF. BUT, as I mentioned earlier, if the buds connect via LHDC in the phones mentioned above, obviously there's a huge difference in audio perception. It's a long answer, but I hope I was able to enlighten you with something 😬

And seriously speaking, i didn't find huge difference between aac and lhdc while using apple music. So, you can definetely go for it. This earbuds looks so premium that no one will guess it's price is less than 5k.

"Any" set of cheap earbuds do not offer detailed EQ settings. Also if you even happen to have EQ settings, tweaking it won't affect the sound quality much.
