what are the scissors that you use. :)
@ApricotPolkadot4 жыл бұрын
I don't know why I have always done it this way, but I have one pair of scissors for cutting the pom pom off the pom pom maker, then I have another pair for trimming them. After trying to use the same pair, I found that I just liked each one more for their individual tasks! The one I use for trimming is this Fiskars pair www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00006IFNA/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B00006IFNA&linkCode=as2&tag=apricotpolk0b-20&linkId=6a6ae21467347f5f5b2c8550e3682683 And the ones I use for cutting off the pom pom maker are actually similar to these smile.amazon.com/dp/B001IKCGLM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_vu2kFb9YNX17Y they don't sell the exact ones I use anymore, but as long as they are pointy and sharp, they should do the trick!

Hi...just found your tutorial...you make it look so easy !! I noticed that in the first half of the pompom you wrapped the yarn 'toward' you...but when you moved to the second half, you started wrapping the yarn 'away' from you. Is this necessary, or can you wrap both sides in the same direction?
@ApricotPolkadot5 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for your question! I don't even notice which direction I'm wrapping anymore because my hands just are on their own! 😂 But it does not matter which direction you wrap. I usually just wrap in whatever direction the yarn seems to want to go. Obviously you need to keep going on that side in the same direction or else you will unwrap the whole thing, but the separate sides can be different! Let me know if you have any other questions! ❤️
