Hi Franna , i have a shimano sienna 4000 could i use that for surf fishing
@redtobertshateshandles2 жыл бұрын
Yes, but it doesn't have a waterproof drag. Sand and salt water will get inside. Always buy reels with a waterproof drag. The cheapest I know is the Penn Spinfisher SSM. A great reel.

Looks amazing. For a noob this is great,but how does the setup look.(line,then hook and sinker in bottom) as a example. No idea how to do setups. Love your clips and music

Hi Franna, great video. A suggestion for using music, rather use music from NoCopyrightSounds. You can find them on KZbin and you don't have to worry about getting demonetized or copyright striked. What size hook do you use in this video?
@marcusbrandt67435 жыл бұрын
ElzharWP1 - Fishing I’m not franna but he used a 6/0 circle for the live mullet and he usually uses a 3/0 circle for the chokka.

Great video my friend. Couple of questions. How long is your trace including the dingle dangle? Secondly, how do you connect the trace to the main rig body? Do u use a pulley type rig body?

Thanks for a cool video. Where you using the Berkley Black venom anaconda l. If yes, what are your thoughts on the rod? I'm planning on getting one, but can't decide between the Anaconda l and Horizon Zero 4-6oz.
@frannafishing64206 жыл бұрын
Hi Ocean Angler, Yes that is the Anaconda L. Absolutely incredible. Best edible rod I have fished with. Stunning.

Are you fishing with braid?if so,ive been told by many that you cant slide with braid but i see you sliding.
@frannafishing64205 жыл бұрын
Hi Gareth, hahaha no I have 150m of nylon on top of the braid. Sliding with braid is not the best. Its possible in places that is easy but not good in big sea
@darrennesbitt1256 жыл бұрын
Awesome vid / tips, thank you! Were you sliding on braid there at the end, or was that mono on the grinder? - I'm curious as there's quite a lot of debate around the idea of sliding on braid.
@frannafishing64206 жыл бұрын
Sliding on mono there. I have some mono on a grinder. I normally slide on a light stick to keep it fun. Sliding on braid does not work well in places where there is alot of current. It works but has issues.
@darrennesbitt1256 жыл бұрын
Cool man, thank you for the reply. I'm tempted to try sliding on braid - thought it could be especially useful on days with strong onshore wind, and to get bigger livies out further, but too worried about it burning the braid / losing a bunch of line into the water. Think I'll rather leave it ;-). But thanks for all your vids / your channel - very cool.

Hi Ahmed, that is a non-return slide clip. it moves down the line and help get bait to the sinker
