Do you always have to use a steel pick to place elements? Is it worth to invest in a steel pick machine?

So much I need to learn about taking payments, shipping, and what to take to craft show in late July. My first one and I'm really nervous about how to do all this. I started just doing things for myself and family and more and more people want to order. It's exciting and scary

It’s simple to glue in longer stems or use a wooden pick. I would make a profit before investing in a pick machine.
