How to Make the Perfect Taco Bell Meximelt Recipe

I worked at Taco Bell when the meximelt was on the menu. We used a steam box to melt the cheese. Wrapping them in a wet paper towel is genius to copy that process. We used a three cheese blend that is callled Mexican blend at the grocery store but he already said that I'm just saying it to verify authenticity.

The 'new' Meximelts they are using a thicker and larger tortilla. They also DO NOT put them in a steam box or even microwave them. The sweet and zesty pico is what makes it, so that have that going for them. But as to the complete actual product, they're compromising and it shows in the final result. This recipe looks great!

It looks like you had the ones from the produce section, I wasn't sure, so I had to ask. Thanks ❤️ 😊 I'll be definitely trying these recipes for my Mexican hotdogs.
