1) Probably already aware, but there is a guaranteed pipe sniper rifle spawn in Concord. Turn left at the museum, last house on the right on the 2nd floor. Already has a long barrel and scope. Buy the guaranteed suppressed bolt action pistol from Trudy and swap the suppressor to the rifle. 2) Surprised you didn't decide to pick up the Problem Solver from Mason. It's Furious effect makes it great in any configuration. Plus you siding with the NW raiders means you can set up weapon dealers at the outposts for a consistent supply of 7.62 ammo without going back to NW

Not to Mention siding with the Operators gives a good perk for sneaky characters (Increases stealth in darker areas + more damage with suppressors!)

I don't get why people keep sh*tting on the perk you get for siding with the Pack at the end of Nuka-World. It gives you a flat 25% damage reduction, _FROM ALL SOURCES._ Not Damage Resistance, but 25% less damage. That is 25% less damage, _FROM EVERYTHING._ That is so mind-bendingly broken, and is useful on every build in the game. Chosen Disciple is only useful if you're doing a VATS melee build, and Ace Operator is good for stealth snipers.

@@Dr_Soprano I mean, you can take their armor from their bodies after you kill them? You have to mow through like 30 of them in the Power Plant if you side against them, so you should end up with like 4 or 5 full sets by the end.

@@Connor_Tyler I was thinking of splitting the flags between operator and disciples to stay in favor, buy the armour like Fevvy did, then in the commonwealth make sure disciples stays lowest when i take settlements so I end up with Operators and Pack perks.

Yeah, this is a great build. Only real issue I ran into is that the final armor set is really heavy. I'm putting the next levels after 60 into strength and armorer.

For vault 81, you can also just agree to hand over the fusion cores, then drop all of them before talking to the overseer. You can then just pick them back up. Super useful if you can pass the speech check.

Nice vid! Since not a lot of ppl actually know about it, i thought i might share it here, but you can actually equip ballistic weave (from the railroad) on military fatigues (dont remember which one) as well as on hats. Which means you can get up to ridiculous levels of protection, rivaling t-45 protection levels all for free if you equip heavy armors on top of your military fatigues. This thing is so strong that it basically turns the game from survival difficulty to easy once you get your hands on the highest level weave. Very fun, recommend at least giving it a shot

Does that bug with MacCready's companion perk still exist? It's supposed to give + 25% headshot accuracy in VATS, but ended up giving you max accuracy to every shot in VATS. I hadn't heard of bethesda patching it.

Fevvy producing another banger like always. I’ve been watching for years and every time you make one of these builds it makes me want go back on my pc and play Fo4 for the 1000th time. The most recent build I’m planning on doing for survival is a melee power armor build instantly getting the hellfire armor and using Thoatslicer (infinitely more fun if you use the furious rocket bat earned from Mason from the end of the Nuka world dlc). Most importantly combining Pain Train + Blitz to hit your targets mid air only if you enter pain train running animation then use blitz it’s absolutely sensational!

I usually go Red Rocket as my home base; until I get Home Base lol. Red Rocket is the better water farm for me, because I hate sanctuary and the minute men that much... Also, I usually play unarmed, so I tend to drink a beer at 10 strength, and then get the special book for 1 strength, and then the bobblehead... BUT, if you get Daddy-O and want to max Charisma gains so you don't have to bother with the bloody magazines (which alongside the bobbleheads are a PITA to collect) you can put Charisma to 10, use Daddy-O and then take the book to 11 Charisma. You will never fail a speech check. Then with any given charisma hat (I prefer the newsboy cap or the militia hat over the trilby) and the black rimmed glasses (you always find a pair in the mole rat's den by red rocket) and the charisma based clothes (I like the clean black suit best, but any will work - though the summer shorts are bugged and fuck with the player's skin tone) you'd get up to 4 more charisma. Which puts you at 15. You need 16 to get the best prices for buying and selling from any merchant in the game; so go get the charisma bobblehead from the meat packing plant where you can usually find one of the special random traveling traders. You now have 16 charisma with an innate base of 12, and with your water farm you will NEVER need to worry about money again. The intelligence 12 is debateably useful, because overall it really doesn't give you that great a boost to EXP. It will also bork the procc chance of Idiot Savant, which is also a PITA perk. None of the other stats will help you at 12 overmuch, but for unarmed or melee the 12 strength base can be sweet. Endurance the only way to take it down by one is to cripple yourself as far as I know... and it's not all that useful at 12 base to be honest.

I've tried a lot of different sniper builds and have to say this has been my favorite. Honestly I didn't even notice the 1 endurance which surprised me. I dislike using companions, even Dogmeat (sorry doggy), so carry weight on survival was this builds only downside. Just had to adjust my normal looting style.

Nice! Litterally just finished off building my own PC a day ago (Still waiting for some external accesories) and been looking in finally doing a full FO4 playtrough on survival diffeculty nonetheless. This insipred me to do a sneak build aswell, but with a twist... Stealth Melee only. I am already thinking off the most batshit insane numbers you could pull off with it, and i wonder if you can do a guide on it as i am not familiar with FO4's system yet (I mainly play FO76, and i REALLY like the simplicity of the perk card system)

Not sure if you are aware but the Gunner outpost near Tenpines Bluff has a decently modded (I think leveled) Sniper rifle and a Laser Sniper in the Cabin on the top road. Granted it is the 3 Gunners and a turret you are fighting and one of them is holding the Ballistic one. Mercifully though the other two tend to only carry Standard Laser Pistols when I show up.

Yeah If i wasn't using Lone Wanderer for the carry capacity that would have been the plan. Love END and Low STR makes carrying stuff hard without Lone Wanderer though

It's a shame our characters can't be sniper bros In a Concord house south by south east there's a pipe sniper that's pretty good in the early game Also, the house closest to the Red Rocket seems to refresh resources very quickly in my playthrough... daily nuka colas, buffouts, sugabombs etc... don't know if it's bugged but my cryptid needs the cash as the wasteland doesn't work on layaway Also lucked out like a demon in my playthrough and got a legendary gauss with the additional projectile perk. I named it Darla before coming to my senses and renaming it Vindicare
