Great pattern! Like you said, keep a good hold on it at the beginning or it will fall apart, and DO NOT tighten your primary color or it will end up looking like a big mess! I had to redo this four separate times before I was able to get the grasp of it but once I did, it was easy peasy and came out looking really good! I think it's easier to start on the same side as you, if this pattern is a first for someone, just because it's a lot easier to follow the instructions. I ended mine with the cobra stitch but used a fid to run my two strands up the back for most of the length of the bracelet, which made the bracelet feel more durable without affecting the overall look of the pattern. Thanks for the great video!! :)

I tried it and was very satisfied. Because it was my second paracord project, I found it slightly difficult and succeeded after 2 tries, and all I did was simply untie and start over. Thank you, keep up the good instructional work Ron

..that's a beautiful weave there.. and very creative if that's your own design.. I haven't seen anyone else do this kind..it's very illusive..the back side of this braid is cool too..I'm trying this without the clasps though.. it could be tough..good video!..thanks!
@vid21jgg10 жыл бұрын
Shawn/Shaun, It would be helpful if you would give the paracord lengths per your length of bracelet and also the buckle attachment. I assume you melted the two cord ends together and used the cow hitch. This is a fairly simple bracelet where you just half hitch the black onto the yellow as you go back and forth down the center. Thanks for the vid.

ok, Measure width around your wrist, this is distance between the two clasps,, leave a good length tail for the wrapping. These 2 colors are attached in the middle & cinched around 1 buckle. The is confusing but it gets better looking as you go. The key to it is really holding everything in place from row to row.
@wildwildwests9 жыл бұрын
Thought i would add, this gets pretty thick on back side so i had to add 1/4 " to my original length for around my wrist/between clips.

I really wish you would create a book or two of all your video's. You are the one that I go to all the time as your instructions are clear and concise. Plus some of your instructions are new. I love the fact that they all have buckles. Tyingitalltogether does not show buckles and drives me crazy LOL. I am in the process of making small glow in the dark bracelets to hand out at holloween instead of candy for the little ones. Parents cant eat that ROLF. But PLEASE consider a book or two, I will buy without reservation,

I am making a 7-7.5" bracelet. Usually, this takes about 4 feet of each color for a normal soloman's weave. However, with this bracelet, I am running out of black faster, as the back of the bracelet has a Lot of black criss crossing over. So, I would say 4 feet yellow (or orange in my case), and 5 or 6 feet of black is needed to make this size bracelet. Do you agree?

@zickiezickie9 жыл бұрын
TheJoey550 Maybe I can help. The black cord is already under or behind the yellow. Just bring the black cord up and loop it over the yellow and feed it into the space where the black went under the yellow. It's just a loop. Pull the yellow cord back to the other side on top of the two vertical cords. Bring the black cord to the other side under the two vertical cords. This will bring the black cord under the yellow. Now lift it up and make the same loop over the yellow and into the space. Watch the video again and you will see it done.Hope that helps.
