Non toxic is relative! It means with a small amount you won't end up poisoned, it does not mean it does not have harmful stuff. Unless its simple wax and a non toxic pigment, if the product does not say apply with fingers, wear gloves! Also many times it says non toxic as its applied or wet, but then you are sanding............. this stuff and most stuff is not lung safe! Once stuff becomes dust be aware you can't get this stiff in your eyes, your mouth or breath it!

Thank you for the reminder about safety! It’s definitely important to be mindful of the things we’re using in our homes. This wood filler is safe and safe for the environment. I have personally spoke with the owner regarding this matter. I also do wear a mask and eye protection when sanding. Please let me know any recommendations you have for truly environmentally friendly products . I would love to try them !
