Sadly, the landing zone is too narrow to reliably throw a glider. You only get two attempts, and attempts that land out of bounds are disqualified. Honestly, a lot of people were even throwing their darts out of bounds.

Zone is narrow, humidity is unbearable for gliders in this place. People used hybrids but they were still very bad because of humidity.

Great video. Important tip, wings need to form a Y letter with the fuselage, that makes it go further with upside down throw. Also I agreed to share this model to see if people will be able to achieve a better result than me. My best throw in the hangar with a humidity problem was 68m (223.097 feet) very close to 69m that would probably put me around a bit over 70m in better conditions. If anybody gets a better result let me know here if possible.

Thank you so much foldable flight! I beat the danish record for farthest flying paper airplane for 0-14 year olds. The roof was very low so I could only throw it like 7 meters heigh. I got 30.14 meters (about 100 feet) beating the old record of 27.14 meters and 30 cm short of beating the record for 15+ year olds which is 30.5 meters! 😀

It spirals, tried making a design to fly straight but it is not possible because of the fold that holds it at the tip. It would go further if it did not spiral but over the years never found a way to fold it in a way that does not spiral but still holds the fold at the tip.

Dude, we can't call it an airplane anymore. Only the "paper" part is true, that's all. The real ingenuity of a paper airplane, no matter what anyone says, is its ability to glide. It should be able to fly straight for at least a certain distance. But this only draws a parabola depending on the angle and force of throw. This is exactly what happens when you pick up anything and throw it. At most we can call it a "paper spear" or a "paper missile". Because what it has are not "wings" but at best "flaps". You have also piled more than 90% of the weight on the tip in a strange "wrapping" method, as if it were a "warhead", which justifies calling it a "missile".
