If you have acces to UEFN you can select a prop, scroll all the way down in the prop settings and remove the checkmark at "Can be damaged"

That's odd. Have you rechecked your Island settings?

Barrier devices functions are set in the device itself. In Edit mode, they're not working, but in Game mode, they function as they're supposed to, if you set them correctly.
