Its kinda useful for the killer- being able to hide blood stains that may have been spattered on their arms could be covered, pretending to be nervous and jittery which leads to them fiddling with their long sleeves and wiping the blood off their hands. Hello! i have some tips to improve murder mysteries that might be helpful. 1. Make important scenes look unimportant. Like the killer could find food, show it to their group, and they could have poisoned the food, making one of the characters die later in the movie. Say, they gain trust to one of the characters, leading them to their demise while the other members poison kills them. This could raise suspicion to other characters, while the killer accuses with the rest of the group. Though this is quite hard to pull of though. 2. DO NOT make anything obvious for the killer in the beginning. Yes, there absolutely could be a death a bit into the beginning, but don't make the killer simply walk away with the victim and come back alone. Say, the "accused" could go to the bathroom, giving attention to the accused while the killer makes their move. This, again makes the accused suspicious while the killer plays mine games with the rest of the group. 3. Make the deaths tie together with the movie. Say the group could split up and find a storage closet with a rope, a few minutes in, one person gets hung. Yes, this does raise suspicion to the killer, but make another character more suspicious. Maybe an innocent says something like "oh, a rope.". This raises suspicion to the other character more than the killer. Hope this helps!

A good twist is to make the detective the murderer, and one way to make it so they can’t leave could be that they drove somewhere with the leader’s car, and on the murderer’s first kill, the murderer dose something to Breeck the car, and since no sain person would carry a box of tools capable of fixing a car around with them, the group is now stuck :)

For example, diva + detective can give us a character, who is bratty and spoiled, but quite smart for details. I made and interesting idea for the one that is usually killed off easily and feminine If this person even felt a slight touch, they would probably run away, and since they are so used to running away, being so sensitive, they would be pretty fast. If the lights come on mid chase, the murderers plan would fall apart. So, they last a lot longer than expected, thanks to the killers fear of their plan being foiled. Maybe they’ll make it to the very end.

I've got one for me, its a horror kinda, also a romance kinda The zombie laugh. Maybe urs could be set in future, world in chaos, kids living by big trash heap, there is a killer among them, and government wants to find out who it is, if the kids find out, they get taken to a government safe haven, Part 2:someone at government safe haven is a psychopath, they want to rule earth(even though its chaos), they want no competition, so they try and kill everyone.

I needed this, in a project in A.P or in English social studies I needed to make a anime or movie were the setting was somewhere in Asia. I decided to make an Anime murder Mystery. We also had to answer specific questions like "who are your characters" and "where is the setting". The setting and the plot were pretty fine but the characters I had so much fun creating. I watched the first part and this one then created them. I was very proud that I decided I wasn't going to delete the characters in Gacha Club but I would keep them for future purposes.

im gonna make the medic into the killer! maybe they're in a college and the medic is planning on being a doctor, so they have plenty of knowledge to help them for when they become a med student! they're big into biology and quite buddy-buddy with the leader (perhaps one of the characters could describe them as sycophantic?) the detective is gonna be a bit slow to realise what's going on so they might be keeping their sanity the most, and the leader is essentially their updater. this means that the leader could purposefully leave out information to incriminate the ones they don't like >:] the diva is gonna be more of an interrogator in a way, and paired with the scaredy. the diva could push the scaredy into a room since they know that the scaredy picks up on everything. essentially, they're gonna be the detective's second source who only warms up later on. the scaredy is like a pair of binoculars. also, the leader could be quite protective of the scaredy, constatly berating the diva the suspicious is gonna be two sisters and they're gonna be the "empaths" of the group except not like in the memes. they could try to reason through other peoples' lenses. maybe one is sly, pickpocketing and such to gain information and the other is more light-hearted, trying to keep everyones' morales. the sly sister and the morale sister both have maybe a link to a spirit medium in their family history so they have more tendencies to listen in near the corpses and whatnot.

Do you think this is a good story line? : A group of friends (the cast including the murderer) go out on a camping trip and their car or caravan breaks down. Luckily they have a phone but no service and the owner refuses to let anybody use it because of the low charge. During the night one person dies. Nobody suspects that a member of the group did it, they believe it was an animal but then the next day while looking around somebody else gets killed but they didn’t see any animals other than a few foxes and rabbits and other animals. So then they suspect somebody. Finally the diva allows them to call the police but woopdidoo no internet so then the group goes looking for the closest man made building in hopes of finding either internet or more people. Eventually they find an old school along with an abandoned looking town. (It looks newly abandoned like their was a disease or massacre) they stay in the school and call the police because they found wifi. The police say that they are in the middle of nowhere and it will take at least a few days to a week to get there. Murder stuff happens they find the killer and a day later after they trap the killer the police come. If you actually read this far please don’t steal this idea since I am working on this exact story but feel free to comment ideas for the characters since I only have one character finished at the moment and two W.I.P. Also I could write a book on this if it seams cool. But I wanna get to 20 likes before I do it

You could for an ending, make there be an only survivor that has survivor's guilt because the people who were murdered aren't new, strangers or stuff, they're childhood friends, or family. You could also make it a fantasy murder mystery(kinda) and have one of the characters communicate with ghosts in some way, not them being exactly OP but they would have more info than the others, yet not tell people what they have found, making them more suspicious unless that is cliché or something-

Ideas! -An actor/actress who can keep a secret and maybe uses fame to gain trust and distract -The medic helping the killer/maybe also being the killer? (since they can good information and memory about human bodies they can help the detective, killer, injured as you said, and maybe themselves. If sanity goes down a lot, they could be pressured by their intellect and maybe well you know. And I just know easy ways that they could help sabotage and kill easily too.) -A “professional” investigator uses fake IDs, titles, and stuff and like they were previously a robber or expert in crime. There could be a turning point for them with something like love and trust that makes them contribute (like actually) to the cases and etc bc of their information too. They have been in many situations (in their “career”) where they have been scared or almost caught maybe and this leads to them being sus for not being that shaken too (since they are used to deceiving and strangers). (also I do have some prior writing knowledge and stuff bc I wrote fanfics here and there (mostly romance👀) The actor will obviously have some sort of fashionable clothes maybe and styled hair, because of circumstances they may act irrational because they are used to their luxuries, and well become a distraction. Makeup smears and etc can be evidence used against them. For age I’m thinking maybe 20’s. The sabotage/helpful medic, for them to contribute to the story they could be young, average, or old. Since I’m going for someone who can do various choices, I don’t want someone who is old, and with the possibility of them committing sewer-cide, I can’t have them be way too young along with college and stuff, I think the average age for medical professionals may be like 40’s but for nurses and lower titles they could be 20-30’s. Their choice of clothing would be useful for efficiently moving around and first-aid, so maybe folded sleeves and maybe flexible pants/leggings. They could have their scrubs on too. Since they are the medic, and depending on personality, they could reveal themselves early, during something, or late ish (last option not that great :/) and I think either way, one person is going to use them, efficiently and respectfully or just as a tool and not a person.

I have some ideas: 1. There can be 2 killers in the movie(ex. The main killer’s best friend joins them or someone else who is close to them/ or there is a killer who is outside of the main cast and another one who is in the main cast) 2. Some character can also help the killer(by making a deal or something) just so he can survive but there would be also the survivours from the main cast 3. The scaredy cat could save the the whole group( from who is alive ofc) 4. Someone could distract the killer so others can excape(or even sacraface his life) 5.Someone could commit a suitside bc they are terrified and freacked out 6.Some could have a fear of blood and they can make someone dies bc they were injured and they were too scared to help 7.Killer puts the traps all over the place and someone gets caught 8.The cast could also make a trap for killer(its optional if he is gonna get trapped or not) 9. If police arrives killer could kill the police or disguise as one of them and kills the rest of the group(they could be in a car or or inside of the place the group is trapped 10. Killer could have an animal to help them kill(it can be even their pet) (I think these are more for horror than mm lmao)

Another idea for when they can’t leave is because they have shotgun collars around their necks and will automatically activate if they step out the door, for example, a character could get killed by the murderer by having a conveyer belt push them out the door (probably the diva) and their head will explode, or they could just get a simple thrown off the roof.

Here's a tip for making a horror movie: Make the killer fake their death, then make them get up again and say they think they survived, the cast asks the killer who killed them, but the killer couldn't see it because the lights were out, and they were attacked from behind, so the cast would think that the killer isn't actually the killer. but make them have some (fake) pain, otherwise it wouldn't be realistic

Honestly I recommend leaving you're audience questioning who the killer is. Give characters real personalities. Don't make the killer super obvious. And honestly what really keeps your audience viewing is leading them to think it's someone but it's really a character they would never have suspected. Just my take on Murder Mysteries a year later! 😁

okay i understand why people dont add eye shinies. It's because anime shows don't either, but if you were to make this more realistic, eye shinies never go away unless you are in total darkness where there is no light at all.
