This was fantastic! One of the best tutorials I've seen on how to make tie dye with Photoshop. You speak a little fast but that's okay because we can always rewind. Your steps are easy to follow and detailed. Thank you for this! Could you please make a tutorial on how to do batik? There are different types of batik are about batik stamps and there are batik hand painted. Thanks again excellent tutorial!

I'm trying to make this tie dye on Photopea, but when I try to add the rays inside the mask, it doesn't allow it. So I'm duplicating layers and trying to add more contrast to it. 😊

Thank you for attempting to follow along with Photopea! I've never used it but what you're describing sounds like a good workaround. The best thing about tie dye is that it's organic and there's a lot of room to play around, I'm sure your end product will be awesome!

Is COMMAND the same as CONTROL and OPTION as ALT? I'm having a difficult time applying the Rays as a mask.

Yes, it's confusing because Mac and Windows both have Ctrl keys that operate differently. Generally, Command on Mac is Ctrl on Windows, and Option on Mac is Alt on Windows.
