What type of filament works best for longevity? I notice PLA joints come loose after a dozen or so articulations. I heard that clear nail polish can help, but I haven’t tried yet.

i use strongest PLA i could find or PLA+ , and when joints become loose i apply acrylic paint

This is amazing!! I have one question, out of curiosity and my personal experience with printing toys. how do you solve the resin dust problem that occurs due to the ball joint sockets rubbing each other. or is this only ment for prototyping, and the solution to that is to print it in plastic

You need to buy resin suited for action figures. That dust is toxic. I would recommend resione resin or sunlu high toughness. You will find a ton of videos of resione action figures.

@captainfoodman you can try resin, someone told me you shouldnt cure 100% to get elastic resin
