How to Make Traditional Emirati Dukhoon - عمل الدخون على الطريقة الاماراتية || HappyKittyCrafts

Hi! For those who want to learn how to make your own dukhoon, or ever wondered how it was made, hope this video helps!
150g oud before grinding
White musk (should be the same amount of the ground oud- in the big bowl)
50g black amber dissolved in flower oil (rough translation)
Sugar (should be a bit less than the amount of white musk)
Henna perfume (rough translation)
Rose water (amount depends on the amount of oud powder, this is to bind all the ingredients together so that they are not too dry or too wet)

Hello Caroline thank you for your comment, unfortunately it is her own formula that she mixed and she didn't write down the detailed ingredients, but every body has their own different formulas and ratios I would say go with your gut feelings 😁

if you are in Dubai you can check the old souq in Al Fahidi area or the store Ibraheem Al Qurashi to find base ingredients to make dukhoon. You can also google it and see where to buy it near you or if you can order it online

It never expires and the more it lasts, the better it will smell, like fermentation, and it should be stored in a glass or metal jar away from direct sunlight is best
