How To Make Transparent Gradients In Photoshop - The Complete Guide

I had to come to the comments to find out why you say "check off" dither and transparency but leave them checked ON when you create the gradient!!!! But I get it now. Bottom line for anyone confused like I was: Make sure to check ON dither & transparency if they are checked OFF! By turning them "on" you will be checking them "off" the list of things to do! 🤣

Just starting this video, but hopefully this is the one I actually am looking for. I'm a beginner and my sister is having me teach myself photoshop, because she doesn't have the time to record a bunch of videos of her process on how she does stuff step by step, and I've never used the gradient in photoshop before.
