Love this series! I just discovered your videos about a week ago when I was looking for ideas for a TN that I was making to send to my 19 year old daughter who’s leading a group of her friends on a trip. I am new to journal making and have made several junk journals (LGB and binder recipe books) but never anything for listing or staying organized. I LOVE making lists so I’m really getting into this!! Thanks for sharing your creativity and knowledge!

Hi there from Anchorage, Alaska. I am new to TN's. I greatly appreciate these video series. They are definitely helping me with what I need and what I want as well. I don't have a creative bone in my body. So this really helps me to kind of be able to get an idea of what I can do for my TN to make it pretty. Because I feel like if it's pretty then I will want to be working in it. Blessings to you and your family.

Hello Layle, shakira from NY. I found your TN series a week ago, Jan 2021, and have fell in love with it. I use a TN for my basic needs if a calendar and jotting down things I’ll forget. I absolutely love each video especially the first one. Who knew all the things you could do with a TN. I like to craft so I make my own TNs and inserts. Just wanted to say I love the series❤️

What a wonderful series! I want to buy just a couple of things, ( like that shiny velum paper) before I attempt to make my own insert! Yours was so beautiful as well as how gorgeous your handwriting is! I just love you and Sam! I laugh so much at how you go "Momma mode" when Sam keeps adding his little two cents! 😂😂😂 He's the comedy relief!!! The whole family has your back and that is so wonderful to see and hear! ❤️

I watched this recorded and got very excited with all the ideas for making my own inserts. I've only been using TNs for a about a year or so and neve thought about making my own. As Vicki Boutin says "I drank the Koolaid" and I ordered the crafting needles so I can stitch my inserts. I don't sew so that is kind of a big deal for me. Thanks for all the inspiration!!

The EK Tools corner rounder have a lock on the bottom that keeps them shut. Sometimes when rounding thicker items, the lock activates and you just have to slide the lock open. I use mine to cut acetate all the time and it works just fine. :) Also, that floral paper is absolutely stunning. The Stamp Market you said it was?

Two things about stapling. I learnt recently about the toggly bit under the stapler that you push up so you can swivel the staple guide to turn the staple legs OUTWARDS instead of in. Apparently if you are stapling more than a few pages or thicker pages the staple legs should fold out instead of in. They do hold much better. Also I don't have a long arm stapler so I just open my normal stapler out and staple through the pages into a mouse mat or foam mat then use a ruler to close out the legs.

Hi There, my friend turned me on to your page and youtube channel. At the end of the video, someone asked you how to store unbound inserts and you said a clip. Have you ever thought of sewing/stapling them for storing?

Could you print a monthly calendar and make a insert?
@LayleByMail4 жыл бұрын
Hi Kelly - you certainly could! You'd just need to play around with the layout of the calendar a bit to make sure that they days of the week didn't fall in the center of the spread.
