With addition to everything they use there i do add ochros and one greated carrot with sum dices of pumkins with coconut milk and a lil pinch of gerra😊very yummy and healthy for our tummies 😊😊😊😊😊

In Dominica 🇩🇲 we call that Callaloo . And it's one of my favorite greens to pair with ANY AND EVERYTHING 🤣

We call it Callaloo in Grenada 🇬🇩 too. It's like a staple in a lot of our dishes.

Callaloo n Bhagi are different dishes. Callaloo has ochcro in it bhagi doesn't. Although they have similar ingredients they do not taste similar.

You are supposed to boil that leaf for 45 to 60 minutes, then throw the water out.Why?some folks are deadly allergic to it.

Do that and you throwing away all the nutrients from the bhagie.. whoever is allergic just don't eat the thing .. its meant to be steamed down until all the moisture is gone and eaten with roti or dhal and rice or dumplings 👍
