We eat this in Italy too and call it "Trippa" (literally meaning belly in a rude manner in some dialects), most people I know find it disgusting but godammit I love it and how it kinda melts in your mouth but still remains chewy. If anyone's wondering how the texture feels the closest thing I can think of is squid but with a small tender filament on one side.

It originated from italy-
@Vorexia
@Vorexia 7 ай бұрын
@@ShutmeowUp Tripe doesn't originate from any specific location, if that's what you mean. The reasoning to that is the same as to why liver doesn't have a place of origin: as a survival instinct, any human that can't afford to be picky with food will try their absolute best to minimize food waste. We've eaten tripe for about as long as we've been able to cook food, which is up to 2 million years ago. Since tripe is simply the lining of ruminant stomachs, and ruminants exist all over the world, we can only really say that tripe originated from Earth.

😊😊😊😊Ephesians‬ ‭6:10‭-‬18 says, Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints. The bible is no old book. You have to really let Christ open your eyes; to see the world in shambles. Many people say it's a religion to lock up people in chains, and say it's a rule book.. why? Because people hate hearing the truth, it hurts their flesh, it's hurts their pride, it's exposes on what things have they done..people love this world so much, s*x, money, power, women, supercars.. things of this world. Still trying to find something that can fill that emptiness in your heart. You can't find that in this world.. only in Christ, the bible is no chains, it's a chainbreaker. Breaking your sins into pieces... Repent now, and turn back to the true Lord only.. God bless.

In the southern parts of Africa (Mainly Lesotho, Botswana and South Africa🇿🇦🇱🇸🇧🇼) People eat a mesmerising dish called Mogodu (Mala Mogodu) and it is pronounced “Moo-Gh-O-Doo”. In Romania, we make tripe "ciorbă". Ciorbă is essentially a hearty soup, the term soup being reserved for the liquid that comes from boiling meat and a mirepoix, usually garnished with parsley or noodles. Anyway, this ciorba concoction is usually made with sliced romanian peppers and sour cream, eaten with a garlic and sour cream sauce and vinegar. It's so lovely, you HAVE to give it a shot.

I’m part indigenous from Canada. When we hunt we stomach lining raw it is one of my favourite things to do so we just chew on it and eat it and then store in Away later. And then, when we get to the liver, we eat some of that and then some of the kidney and then store all the rest away. Although I am probably the only one in my family to do it, it is some thing historically done by our group of people I learned it from an elder.
