How long of paracord do you need for the length that you want to cover? Maybe 2 or 3x the length that you want to cover?

@Peacedonkeys5 жыл бұрын

For the nosebands can you use 2mm paracord?
@Peacedonkeys7 жыл бұрын
hi McKenna, i guess you could, it would take a lot longer to cover the noseband, and probably use a lot more cord. give it a try and see how they look.
@mckennamagathan10517 жыл бұрын
Okay, thanks.

Do you think it would be okay to make a rear cinch out of paracord? Just make the braiding a little thicker.
@Peacedonkeys7 жыл бұрын
i'm not sure if it might be a bit abrasive? most girths are made with smooth leather or soft cotton?

what type of rope do you use for your rope halters?
@Peacedonkeys8 жыл бұрын
Hi there, i use halter rope, sometimes called equestrian or yachting rope, or double braided rope. About 1/4 inch, or 6-8mm are all good sizes. There are some links to places you can buy it on my website. www.peacedonkeys.com/product-links-rope/ I also have a video on how to make a rope halter on youtube here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eKrJgZuPhJ2oa68. hope that helps.

Can you use hot glue instead of a lighter?
@Peacedonkeys6 жыл бұрын
Hey I’ve never tried but as long as it stops the paracord from fraying it might be ok
