How to Make Unicorn Tutu Diaper Cake | Packaging a Tutu Diaper Cake | DIY Tutorial

Make a beautiful tutu diaper cake that will be the talk of your next baby shower. Doubles as a great centerpiece and baby shower gift.
What you will need is:
- 55 diapers
- 128 strips of 12" tulle - www.hairbowcenter.com
0r 12" card board roll to cut 128 strips of tulle from a roll
- ribbon - www.hairbowcenter.com
- 2 crochet headbands - www.hairbowcenter.com
- 2 hairbow flowers - www.hairbowcenter.com
- 4 rubber bands
- empty paper towel roll - your kitchen
- cake board - www.papermart.com
- 24" x 30" basket bag - dollar tree
- paper shred or crinkle paper - dollar tree

I use plastic serving trays from dollar tree to "serve" my cake on..id do a gold one for this. This is absolutely stunning!

I used to place them on serving trays or larger cake boards but it meant the shipping boxes were bigger which meant much higher shipping cost. I add special bases for local delivery.

@2:37 A friendly fyi: I found using a crochet hook to pull that loop through the each hole is so much faster and less fiddley. Great tutorial!

Double layer every hole on bottom. Skip the next row and single layer every hole. Skip row again then single layer every hole.

I use the mesh from the fabric store. They have all colors, I usually buy 2yds. I trying to find a better way to wrap the diaper cake with it. Any suggestions?

You may need to either glue the ends together before putting it on the diaper cake or pre-wrap the cake with another ribbon.
