As a Druid, I usually will skill check a warlock with dream walk. If I notice they hit their curses, that warlock is never seeing me again for the rest of the match 😂.

I’m Druid and I do the same thing. The only people that counter Druid is warlocks and wizards. So I’ll usually just avoid them and kill other classes. Rogues rupture can surprise you sometimes if you are tryna get away

​@@Ckr42I would argue bard does pretty well against druid unless I haven't run into a good one. Bard can be pretty damn fast and rapier seems good against cat form. We can kite druid if he's not in cat or rat. We can aoe him and kill him in rat.

I think when making build tutorial videos, it’s important to say why certain perks and spells *aren’t* used. This should help newer players make better decisions when they decide to branch out from the template builds you show in videos. For example, you can say to avoid curse mastery since it doesn’t synergize with the CoP rework anymore, making you wait longer before dealing the instant damage again.

Just thought about it. Ray of Darkness is like one spell that is almost impossible to not take any damage from even when blocking, as you can just adjust the aim as it channels.

Protection from evil does not reduce the damage of cop. It only makes them take the damage faster. The only thing that really matter is perseverance.

If ur still working on getting the lizard skin. You can run the shadow mask for extra stats and no speed penalty And honestly, you can throw the mystic vestments on tbh, with the shadow mask you’re only losing 2 speed, so ig it’s not teeeerible? It is if you aren't playing rat warlock strategy with CoP. Best counter to it is close door, use potion, stand behind door hinge, close door again when it's opened, use bandage = recovered the life you lost. Then run to other door, close door, disengage. Or build ms yourself, hold W to get ontop of warlock, wait for his phantomisr to run out, then auto win.

If you're landing a ton of dark bolts each fight, then the 10% darkness perk provides a lot of value. If not, I would run something else instead.

Build movement speed on barbarian or rogue, hold W, win. Warlock gas lower base movement speed so there's no reason why you can't get ontop of him if you also build for movement. I find warlock easy to counter but building ms Or using cut throat on rogue or pounce on panther when he doesn't expect it, to hard counter him.

Warlock has too many get out of jail free cards, if you corner a wizard or ranger, they are gone, but warlock has Phantomize on a short cooldown. With the high damage of CoP, it became even worse to deal with them, found a warlock full movement speed yesterday on 124 gs, couldn't catch him as movement speed barb because every time I was about to catch him? Phantomize. CoP shouldn't be hitscan and Phantomize shouldn't have movement speed bonus.

Antimagic gives 25% magic resist. Malice gives about 2% magic resist at low gear. I wouldn't ever consider taking Malice unless you are using a high gear kit with a ton of Will for it to scale with

Good eye. In the clips without lizard man, I either had below 10% PDR or I was sacrificing Move speed to get it. Lizard is ideal for under 24 and I would recommend always using it.

Is Torture Mastery really worth it over say Dark Reflection at this gear score?

From what I understand TM is important for the healing since you can't heal off hydra not enough points to use the spell. So it is necessary to run it. However, I would run both cause pairing dark reflection and BOC with the shards can hit pretty hard if you have to fight in melee. But in my opinion early warlock I would aim to avoid pvp and farm gold until you can get gear.

appreciate the senitment of low gear. correct me if im wrong but were discussing torture mastery here with specifically "no" gear, not "low" gear, there are no pieces equpped which increase your magical healing by a low amount, the exact contribution from gear towards magical healing is 0 or "none" so i am confused is there some magical healing gear that makes this work with a minimal or "low" gear investment towards the perk torture mastery or no gear towards it? leather gloves loose trousers lightfoot vs mystic glove and occultist hood white are very different setups ​@@trozersapologies: formatting

@@jimz1024 I'm referring to both low gear and no gear when I advocate for Torture mastery. Here is why: The scaling for torture mastery is 0.05. AKA: For each +1 magic heal you get 0.05 more HP per tick. It requires a lot of extra magical healing for it to have a big impact. The base heal on the perk is already where most of the power is, not from building magical healing.

I don't spend much time there aside from leveling. But many people enjoy the equal footing of low gear. It's also a good place to practice PVP if you're struggling with that.

Try to at least get 0% DR. Then ideally avoid fights against bows as they will hurt. If you go past 24 gear score, this no longer matters as you just put on better gear. See my Episode 2 video for information on that. Good luck!

@PichDextro I think it's alright. It's a trade-off. It lowers the burst damage from your curse of pain and extends the time before you can reapply it. But it buffs your power of sacrifice damage, and it extends your curse durations, which increases your overall healing.
