I spent an hour trying other tutorials only to end up frustrated. They do it all backwards from this. Making the loop first and the clasp bend last makes the most sense and makes it so much easier. Thank you so much!

Did I hear you say you had surgical steel wire on the roll for these too? If so, where did you get it from please? I find more people are wanting this type of earring hook to wear with masks. I have a couple hundred purchased hooks but since I learned how to make them there they sit with other findings like jump rings I also make now. I use 20g copper and 20g tarnish resistant brass for my hooks also and hammer the loop parts a little to help make them stronger. Have you ever used the 20g "Tinned Copper" by Artistic Wire? What do you think of it , especially for earring hooks? Have a wonderful day. ☺♥

I don't know where you can buy surgical steel wire because I purchase surgical steel hooks ready made. I couldn't find any in a quick google search. Titanium wire is also good for sensitive ears and probably easier to find! I've used tinned copper for letters, etc but would not recommend it for earring hooks. Artistic wire sells stainless steel wire.

🌟🌟 ⚘Each "medium" hook needs 2 inches long. 🌟 -- If you need the hook more longer, 🌟 then, you can use 3 inches.⚘👍 I used 👀 👉 2 inches for making a short, small 🌟 earring 🌟 hook.
