I haven't watched u 4 a while and am so happy your demonstrating how to do yarn hair. I haven't got the pattern yet 4 that doll but plan to. Meantime I have other dolls this hair would b great for. Can u do a tutorial on raggedy Ann and Andy? I have alot of different ones some more modern but are handmade. They had been packed a long time and now need an update. Thank you for all you do.

Great Video.... Thank You ❤❤❤ ps: I was wondering if this wig can be done without a sewing machine? Should I crochet the yarn in the middle line, or sew it by hand over that paper???
@PinCutSew8 ай бұрын
I think I’d go the hand sewing through paper route. Maybe even use tissue paper so it’s easier to tear away.

@PinCutSew Жыл бұрын
I haven’t tried it, but I think so! The right kind of yarn would help it stay in a style, I think, and not just stick out everywhere. A boy doll is on my list, so I’ll report back when I’ve tried a short hairstyle!

Any suggestions how to make hair using a weft for a male doll? the front works for the hairline but I’m stumped as to how to attach it at the back to make short hair close to the scalp .

Hello I like your video, and wonder where do you get your fabric for the body of the doll? I 've looked online, and can't seem to find an appropriate skin tone colour for the doll i want to make.
@PinCutSew2 жыл бұрын
Look for Kona cotton solids, that's where I've found the best skin tones. They have a TON of colors, but in person stores don't sell them all. I found a few at JoAnn and a few at Hobby Lobby, but you may have more success online.
