I would be mad about the colour.....but honestly sometimes daring colours works,sometimes I like it , but yeah...I don't like the whole theme pink,maybe just some accents but painting the walls pink and most of the accessories as well r pink when the client is not liking it is probably a problem.

What I love: floor tiles, shower, double vanity. What doesn't work for me: the curtains are a salmon pink, the walls a lavender pink. The orange undertone of the first doesn't work with the purple undertone of the second. Double bathtub: silly. Plus I wouldn't have further clobbered the clients over the heads with pink by hanging pink floral wall art. Black and white wall art would have been an option.

Black and white? Oh please! The current fad in decorating is hardly an improvement over that hideous pink. I couldn't wait for gray everything to finally die. Now there's black and white everything, which is just as boring and unimaginative.

I think the pink is beautiful and I think designers are in the business to push clients sometimes beyond their comfort zone. And, sometimes, clients are pleasantly surprised at how much they like the change. Ultimately, the homeowners have the opportunity at some point to keep or move on from the design.

I love pink but perhaps mint for these clients or even light turquoise or aqua. Hated the first two storage cabinets they brought in but the the third one was meant to be. Lovely bathroom. I’m gutting both my master and the guest bathrooms soon so this really helped.

All the fixtures and tiles are beautiful! The curtains make a bold beautiful statement for this style of home. HOPEFULLY after the final reveal, you had your painting crew come back & redo the bathroom wall color to make the client HAPPY! That shade of pink didn't work with the curtains or please your client!!!

@@thehungrygoldfish It's a very odd arrangement - I've never heard of a designer who simply went ahead and created something to their own taste, while completely ignoring the client's tastes and preferences. A good design is ALL about understanding and fulfilling the client's brief. I think the finished bathroom looks ghastly. I don't mind pink, but black, pink and white is just tacky. The floor tiles look like kitsch polka dots or paw prints and certainly don't look traditional Victorian. The big-patterned curtains are overwhelming, especially if you don't like pink. On the other hand, the traditionally inspired basins and stand, and cabinet number three looked nice/ OK. Thank God they at least changed their minds about having the cabinet shiny black and painted the last one white. :-D

@@papercup2517 Well, obviously it's specifically for TV. No one is going to do that in real life. It's actually quite common on makeover shows for the homeowner to have little to no input on the design and still have to pay for it. Obviously, if the makeover is free, the homeowner automatically gets no input on the design.

I don't like the wall color with the drapery fabric. Maybe a very light coral color instead. AND the clients didn't want pink in the first place. Bet the color way gets changed asap. Ya'll didn't earn your pay.

Pink. Ick. Is the print on the drapes Victorian - ish? So much of this design doesn't quite work for me. So much is there... but it needs a few "tweaks". I loved Tommy's floral photos!

Like the curtains - to me its not really pink but more redish - but not the wall colour; therefore I would like to see white for the walls. The bathroom itself is lovely however, a great fit for the age of the property and the final storage unit is perfect.

I'm assuming there is an arrangement with the clients-after all, they are allowing a camera crew into their home. Maybe they get some comped items from eh sponsor list in exchange for free reign from the design team. I suspect SR want tot present on TV what she feels works best, and plays well on camera, and the clients are in on the agreement.

You realize this is a TV show, right? Sarah Richardson always has a vision that she executes, but I doubt that she would force a couple to live with something they hate. As soon as the filming was over I'm sure that she had non-pink fabrics ready to go.

I usually watch on tv, instead of phone. Had to come over to comment. This was my favorite bathroom ever. I loved the pink fabric, and cabinet she added. This bathroom was stunning. Just stunning bi remember years ago seeing this for the first time with my mouth open, as the homeowner didn’t warm up to the color. I was like… 🙇🏻‍♀️.

I can't imagine anything more heartbreaking than telling the designer that you don't like pink, then getting it on the walls, the chair, the curtains, and the accents. After all the time, anticipation and money spent - what a disappointment :(

It looks to me like the walls are a lavender sort of pink, while the curtains and stool is more of a coral pink? I know online colors don’t always show true, but dang, these appear to clash. Love the fabric but the wall color would have to go cream for me. And I am always a bold color person.

Beautiful bathroom. It’s stunning how off they originally were with the storage cabinet, both with the size and color. The large white one was perfect in the end. I still can’t believe they gave the clients colors they clearly didn’t want, and yet are happy with themselves about it.

It's beautiful and I don't love it. I like some pink but not that much. I would have gone aqua and teal or lavender and indigo. I don't understand why they went with pink even though they they knew the client didn't like it. You can go bold in a different palette.

Well, I usually get annoyed when Sarah goes against the client's preferences but I think Tommy was right that the white & black tiles needed a strong color and it couldn't be blue because the original color of the bathroom was blue ...so I guess they could have gone yellow red or green shades....? But I think Sarah was ok to be her rough rider self in this episode

It’s always interesting to read what people think about the designs. Personally, I think this is remarkably ugly with the pink walls and curtains. The flower prints are nice per se but look odd in this setting. There’s no information about the ceiling fan but an antique upholstered chair in a humid bathroom? The tiling on the floor and in the shower are very nice.

Sarah and Tommy didn't listen to their clients. Neither liked the pink, and the design team just pushed it through anyway. I think everything about this design is gorgeous, except the pink. A design team that doesn't listen to their clients, is not a team that I would want to hire.

I just can't see myself sharing a pink bathroom with my husband. Even if I lived alone I wouldn't want a pink bathroom bc the whole time I would be thinking "How am I going to sell this house with a pink bathroom?" The bathroom came out beautiful but sometimes when the people that are the owners of the bathroom if they don't like a particular color then that should be taken into consideration and it's all right people could change curtains, but that's of course cost money and I'm pretty sure those drapes were expensive not to mention the $25 photoshot of all those flowers I myself love the pink but still the lady doesn't like it they're the ones that paid for it and so I think this should be more consideration on what the client wants.

I'm sorry, but it shouldn't be the client that has to fix the colors. The designer was told up front that they didn't like pink, so the designer should make this right. LISTEN to your clients, after all work you for them.

That’s what a designer does though. If the client was able to choose things themselves and do everything, they wouldn’t have hired her to begin with. A lot of the homeowners on Sarah 101 seem to be afraid of color and pattern. If what you want is a white room with white accessories, then what are you doing on this show and what the heck is wrong with you?
