I learned this when I played as Jessie in Season 2. It was a fun discovery, and WHOA!! She was stupid fast! Then I started to chain drift with Mulan on a few stages and ended up getting her to Diamond Rank! (Which is scary given my average skill level! I'm not playing Mulan in rank ever again now!)

Thank you! I try my best to put out the best content I can! As far as the bunny hop nerf, I never really exploit games, so it's not something that really hit me. I personally never did it. As far as the ranked changes, so far I have a lot of questions, but hopefully they all get answered on the official notes. The best thing I can say is I'm glad they are making steps in the right direction. Still think they have ways to go though. Will be making a video on it once they do release though.

Are you going to try the Gaston event under leveled? Keeping boost and using these tricks certainly helped me get to two wins under superstar difficulty when I was only level 25. Also took a lot of rng

I don't usually do the content after 25 unless I really really like the character. I usually just stick to how much I leveled them. Good stuff though, racing under level vs bots is rough LMAO.

@@poppinoftenwithlofton6036 I get that. I just really wanted the Belle epic crew member shards so that is why I did it. Took like 90 minutes of attempts but I finally got it beat. I was really tempted to get shards in Ranked with Gaston than buy the rest in the store due to fomo (which is why Gameloft designed it that way). But once I saw other players doing it with a level 25 when the recommended is 35+, I thought that would be a better use of time. Here’s to hoping they don’t keep doing this with other mid season racers like hades. That or making the attempts a limited number and having strict requirements as the only way to unlock epic crew members (so in this case Lefou for Gaston).

With the defender its bad , you have to intentionnaly slow down to maintain the boost. Why would it be worth it to go slower for something that you need to go faster..

You don't need to go slower, I was just demonstrating. You'll already be behind due to defender's stats. The design is to slingshot you forward, once you have that, you're good to go! This is one of the reasons why certain defenders dominate ranked play, especially in high ranks.

Very interesting. I've found that top speed isnt the best. I actually got to top 5% by playing as Bo Peep and adjusting the crew. It shaved off an extra 4-5 seconds. You can also activate your boost after getting that power up to give you a very short biy of extra max speed.
