This is the answer I needed. Been quantizing most of my beats because they sounded off. It’s good to know I can use these little imperfections to my benefit and make it “swing”.

Imo It can always be learned. Dilla didnt get the fonk overnight. It took years of practice. As I said in the video its always best to make the drums live like Dilla did but this is just an easy way to get started. Thanks for the comment tho fam 🐮😎
