Thank you! I can feel the passion exuding from Jake and Lenny for what they do! Coming from Shopify private label, you both really helped me learn the ropes of FBA. This video got me to pull the trigger on buying a JS plan to get started. Congrats on the +1 conversion :P Looking forward to more content!

Very informative information, thank you JS! Here’s my question, I’m considering starting with retail arbitrage so I’d love to know how to package the product before sending to Amazon or do I just pack in a basic and ship to Amazon? Does that mean if I’m to sell a product like body wash, am I the one to put it in a separate bag or something?

Hey there, you can convert the USD to INR, but it’s not necessarily going to be the same group of products. I’d suggest you start with some products that aren’t too expensive but priced high enough to make a bit of profit.

Hello, incredible video! I have a question for you guys. Is the brand name is required for every product you sell on amazon or you can label it little later, if so what is that brand name that usually is attached next to the product picture that customers see on the right bottom side ? Thanks in advance!
@junglescout8 ай бұрын
You can always change or use a brand name later. You don't have to have it immediately. Also, it can be placed anywhere on the product packaging or the product itself.

You see, our software is only one of the tools on the way to being an FBA seller. The Jungle Scout suite of tools consists of two main components: a web application that you can access directly from your browser (which we normally simply refer to as "Jungle Scout") plus an extension that can be installed in either Chrome or Firefox. For more information, you can shoot us an email at support@junglescout.com!😉

Any possibility of encouraging manufacture of products in the US?
@junglescout6 ай бұрын
Of course! Using a US supplier is an option and the more people who seek them out, the better their rates are. Certain things are made in the USA and sell better because they are.

Hey, I have a quick question. If I'm ordering two products from the same supplier, does the supplier have to ship the products in different boxes or can it be in the same box when shipped to the Amazon warehouse? Also, when there are product variations, does that get shipped separately or together? Looking forward to hearing back from you guys.

The products can be shipped together as long as they are packaged in the way you wish to sell them inside the shipping boxes.

Amazon is more about selling your product better than your competitors and ranking above them for keywords. 30-50% of amazons traffic is concentrated in the top 3 positions of keywords. If you can generate leads and market your product better than your competitors, you win. Amazon only cares about you if you make them money, they just want their 15%. If you don't make money for them, they are happy to take your 39.99 a month and happy to take the thousands of dollars you will spend on PPC

Why does a distributor cares about amazon listing?
@junglescout8 ай бұрын
Hey! Can you expound on this, please?
@AbdullahKhan-qq5kn8 ай бұрын
@@junglescout the message that you sent to distributor says "I own a retail business that partners with brands to help grow their online presence. We are interested in opening a wholesale account with your company. " My question is why does a distributor care about brand's online presence? He wants to open accounts with business that can comply with their requirements. And their requirements usually includes brick & mortar store. Many suppliers now don't want to partner with e-commerce sellers.
@junglescout8 ай бұрын
That's because, as their partner, you will make people more aware of their brand and bring additional profit 😉

What would you all say about the ethics of this kind of thing? If you're buying something for so incredibly cheap, (1) the supplier is very likely not fairly paying their workers, and (2) the product is probably very low quality. Further, (3) alibaba is a public site. How do you feel selling your product at such a huge markup when the customer could get it super cheap on alibaba themselves? (I know bigger purchases decrease the per-item price, but even at the single-item price it seems like a huge rip off to the customer)
@junglescout8 ай бұрын
Hi there! We are not sure how this harms the customer, we are encouraging paying the fair factory rate, which increases as necessary. These items are not cheaply made, as you pointed out customers can buy in bulk if they wish. For those who want a single item, we take on all the shipping and packaging and delivery at a cost. Yes, there is a profit, but that's the cost of business at any level.
