How to make your first app in Android Studio | Part 1 | Tally Counter

In this video, learn how you can make your first app with Android Studio using Java. We will be making a simple tally counter in Android Studio where the user is able to push buttons to either increase, decrease, or reset the tally count.

I don't have an styles.xml instead I have themes folder under values? What do I do? I have installed the Coretto 15 though.

Hey so in Android Studio 4.1 they got rid of that file and replaced it with the themes folder. When I made this video I was using an older version so the style.xml file was used then. Your program should still run if you follow along with the tutorial but I believe that your buttons will look different. Android Studio now uses Material Designs' color themes as the default instead of the gray you see in this video.
