You shut it down hot? I usually idle all the way down and crack the bypass until the gauge goes down to 150 or so and then turn the throttle until it starts to rev then turn off.

Can u leave carburetor fueled open full throttle or just fuel injection

This video revolutionized the way I pre heat our 370! The funnel is mint! Do you run a 6 flow wand? I'm considering trying an 8 flow to really transfer all that hot water from the TM to the carpets fast....thanks again

Both, give 8 a try, just dont drain the water box by staying on the trigger too long

I'd be curious to see what a temp gauge at the wand would show?

I agree with other statements - need to learn to crack the bypass, let it empty the hot water out of the machine (it will still read 150-200 in the water box but trust me it is a lot cooler than that in the machine when cranking open the bypass) and then throttle down and let it idle for 30 seconds before turning machine off. You will keep the machine much longer this way. Also fog the blower with WD-40

I noticed you said you sprayed down all the rooms 1st. Do you then respray as you’re working so that your prespray doesn’t dry?
@MikePailliotet5 жыл бұрын
This job was small enough to where the pre spray wasn't going to dry.. I can usually do about 800 feet or so without having to worry about it drying on the normal day

You don't need to cremate the carpet to clean it 😁

I break down my equipment slowly but first disconnect my vac line, relieving pressure from just under peak/red line . Usually it will then idle at 1100-1300, I keep my vac filters clean. I put away all my remaining equip with water pressure still on, 500psi (what I usually clean at). As a good ten minutes or so go by, depending on circumstances I will then kill water pressure bleeder valve water has cooled down through the lines and machine as well as cooled motor not leaving it hot , unless last clean and greasing vac motor I don’t mind killing little warm because had wd40. I don’t pull full throttle until I’m about to start clean, last and first thing I do, I make sure my mount is prime and taken care of for longevity. Check and or clean filters regularly lubricant anything needed and ensure machine continuity take care of your tools with minor maint

In the video he def getting his mount warm but giving applying excessive unneeded torque and pressure on motor.

I wish they still made the 370 with the 20hp Kohler. Better fuel efficiency than the 23hp, and plenty of heat.
