How to make your own BEN 10 Alien force OMNITRIX with Holograms | Part 3

Aannd heree is the Alien Force OMNITRIX..
most probably the first Omnitrix having those Holograms as Hologram Illusions..
Simple concept used in a clever way with compact model gives vibes of reality..
The technique used for hologram is called Pepper's ghost technique which is also used in 3D hologram pyramid with which most of you might be familiar..

The image is actually just a reflection but due to the surface being transparent feels as if it is floating above it..
You can see it.. you can see through.. but you can't touch it..
And yes there is an idea with which we can really see 3D object with the same mechanism.. just some modifications..
Maybe we'll try it in future video 😉🔥

Just cut some cardboard,apply paper mache and ur model is ready with some colours...

You can could also use the convex lens which image can come bright and large

On a convex surface image is diminished.. but could use a concave surface of high focal length to increase the size.. no lens needed though

This is so cool! What if you put mirror film on the glass and glued the hourglass piece to the top of the glass? It wouldn’t look as holographic maybe, but it might still work well and you wouldn’t have to take the cover off and on all the time

Yes u can use mirror.. but it'll reflect everything and will not look like alien is hovering above the dial

Hey, I just had a theory, lemme know if it could work or not. Remember the clear green plastic stuff from the OS Omnitrix build? What if that was used to make a lower layer for the AF Omnitrix just below the glass for the holograms to make the regular logo? It would apply an instant green filter on the holograms and could possibly eliminate the issue of having the standard face on a separate card.

@@ArtyDc600 That sucks. Only things I could think of to dodge it would be to use a different, more bright LED or to make the images on the hologram strip a shade of white as opposed to green.
