I don’t think Aaliyah has ever tried to be someone she’s not. Maybe less “authentic” or relatable as to not offend people but I don’t think she’s ever straight up put on some front. I also think she’s matured a lot over the years-becoming more socially aware, even more humble, and smarter.

Omg I use to make my own clip in extensions back in 2010-2011.. I hated how long the process was with dying, straightening and adding them in but the results were so natural and beautiful.

Texture ID detangling conditioner is my fav and go to for my natural hair bc my hair gets matted and dry quick so using that these few years have changed my washing days alot!

Try the Aunt Jackies "knot on my watch" detangles in seconds. You can use it on dry stretched hair daily as well, won't revert hair back to curls.

I have long hair like you and braiding your hair in several braids and then clipping in is so much better!! I can wear the clips longer and it’s healthy for your hair bc you don’t have to retouch with the flat iron

If you have fine hair you can put a thin cross section of your hair in a rubber band immediately below where you want to place the clip ins. Then insert the clip ins along the rubber banded hair. The tension makes the clip in super sturdy with barely any slippage

I do this too now even with my quick weaves. They become convenient u-part wigs because Lord I had to give up on the frontals it’s just just way too much maintenance. ❤️ This is so good

I use to be the same way about trimming too much lol but honesty, the more the quicker the growth and I know that’s a cliche statement but giiiiiirl I LEARNED 😂 I bet if you ever just try it even before you install a wig or get a some protective hairstyle, by the time you take it out you gone be like daaaamnnnn lol healthy growth too 😘

If you braid thin braids track like to attach the clips ins too it’ll cause less tension pulling your hair out overtime helps, trust me I used to be clip in crazy and was losing my hair wearing it so much 😂
