I would use fabric glue to place it on my design and later hand stitch ( if necessary) from the wrong side of the garment.😊 Fabric glue is strong enough to keep it in place for many washes.

If you cut on bias the cord is easily adjusted to the desired design detail. My two cent thought ❤
