hey for anyone wanting to know, the second and third numbers on the GasterBlaster might be the postition they start at. by this i mean their starting position before they fly to the fourth and fifth numbers. here's what i mean(ignore the x's) x,GasterBlaster,x,300,300,x,x,x,x,x would mean it starts near the middle and flys to where the fourth and fifth numbers are. im not too sure yet ill keep testing but if i see its real purpose, i will edit this message. edit: YES. the second and third numbers ARE the blaster's starting postition.

Ok but can you explain about the gaster blasters more in detail i feel like its not explained that much about the 0-360 directiont there's 5 spaces to type the directions but which ones are locations and where it flies to and stuff im confused as hell

In the 6th space where the number 270 is in the video at 5:47 if you change that to a number out if 360 it changes the way its pointed The second and third space is where it starts use 300 and 300 for the center point. The 4th and fifth space is where it flies too. I hope this helps some.

Awesome video! I'm just wondering, how does the delay before an action work? Does it delay the action, or the action after it?

The delay number infront of the line slows down how long it takes its line to come out. In this example below line 1 would come out immediately and line 2 would wait 3 seconds before making it's line run and line 3 would run 5 seconds after line 2 finishes. Line 1: 0,example,,, Line 2: 3,example,,, Line 3: 5,example,,, I hope this helps :)

@@TFFMOAC I was asking you tbe question, but i did find some stuff in the old doc that was Removed from the website for some reason. 0,SansRepeat - makes him scroll around the screen like in that one attack. 0,SansEndRepeat - stops him from doing that. 0,SineBones,Ammount,Spacing,Speed, Height - Creates Bones that have are wavy and make a spacing between them (one of the first attack sans uses) SansSlamDamage, 0 or 1 - enables Damage for the slam. This one is really important. 0,PlatformRepeat,X, Y, Witdh, Direction, Speed, Count, Spacing - basically the normal platforms but they repeat. 0,BoneH,X,Y,Width,Direction,Speed,Count,Spacing - Boneh But it repeats. The bone color doesn't only have 0 and 1 it actually has also a 2 which grants the orange color. 0,CombatZoneSpeed - sets how quickly the Combat Zone reshapes. This goes into a more technical thing but it's really cool once you use it in game. Variable - think of it as a chest Value - The thing stores inside the chest 0,SET, Var, Value - sets Value to the Variable 0,Add, Var, Value1, Value2 - adds two numbers togheter to put them inside the chest. 0,SUB,Var, Value1, Value2 - subtracts two numbers and puts them inside the chest. the same stuff goes for 0,MUL,Var,Value1,Value2 0,DIB,Var,Value1,Value2 and for other math symbols i don't understand like SIN like what the fuck is that. 0,RND,Var,Number - Chooses a random Number from 0 to the number you specified in the command. Now you may ask how do you use them in a battle well glad you probably didn't ask. you can use it to change Stuff like the X and Y Or maybe the color like this: 0,RND,RngColor,2 0,BoneV,300,300,20,2,350,RngColor now you have a BoneV with a random Color (The var doesn't change it's value unless another command replacing the value is triggered.)

Honestly, this whole tutorial was going into it and seeing what did or didn't work. I believe that experimenting and seeing what works ultimately gives you the best understanding. So, I would like to challenge you to try both and comment on what you've learned. You've gotten this far, and I believe in you. To give you a direction to start in, why not try 1-6 commas and see if there's any difference?

The 0 in front of the commands represents the rest period in between the commands so try changing the 0 in front to a 1 or higher

Just use the RND function: 0,RND,[Var],[Value] That will give you a random number between ([Value] - 1) and 0 To Refrence back to the RNG just type $[Var] (Put [Var] as a variable name and [Value] as the rng number you want)

Not to my knowledge when making attacks I would make test text files to try out sections of the attack. I did that to make sure the sizes are right and to see if it's possible to beat. I hope that helps some because it's mostly trial-and-error

Use $HeartY, or $HeartX as a coordinate in where the blaster is positioned $HeartY for heart y position and $HeartX for x I hope that helps

No, but you can implement one if you have construct 2 and the source code by simply making function "Heal" that adds specific amount of hp to the global value HP.

@@Viktorstj28realone I haven't seen a way to do random positions but if you copy paste this from below it looks where your heart is and then points towards it. the number can be changed but leave the $HX and $HY and make sure the get heart position command is above it each time it's used. hopefully this helps towards what you're trying to create. 0.7,GetHeartPos,HX,HY,,,,,, 0,GasterBlaster,0.1,600,600,$HX,400,270,0.5,0.5 0,GasterBlaster,0.1,600,600,150,$HY,360,0.5,0.5

Click choose file and change the box at the bottom to all files (or something like that) and your file should pop up

What do you have to do to run the attack, It only lets me choose a file to run it from

You must put the attack commands in a text file or a CDC file to run it (I recommend txt it’s easier to look at)
